To most, you're "Mom"; to some, you're "Arva"; to many, you're "Grandma" or "Great-Grandma"; to many more, you're "Friend," but to ALL, you're "LOVE"!

Dear Mom,
As I was finishing a rather hectic day yesterday (Friday), I thought about some things I wanted to share with you. Everything that makes me a good teacher, I learned from growing up in the Ruggle family. I learned to share (even when I didn't really want to). I learned patience (10 kids, 2 bathrooms helped). I have a deep compassion for my students who struggle (who was always there to help us when life got tough?). I enjoy my work and get through things with perseverance (and it all started with a paper route and babysitting). I learned to forgive and forget and that tomorrow is a new day. I am organized and enjoy structure (sorry, younger Ruggle boys that I practiced this so much on you!). I can laugh with and enjoy my students, even on "those days" , as you always seemed to do with us. I have a deep faith and spiritual side that started out early and was encouraged every day through your example.
Thanks, Mom, for all of this (and so much more) and for teaching me so much!
I love you and I am sending my prayers and thoughts your way every day!
Love,
Marg
